Vision & Mission

The Vision of the organisation is to provide ‘accessible and appropriately resourced family support services that work with the families and friends of substance users to assist them in addressing the issues and difficulties that they may experience in caring for a family member or friend’. 

The Mission: through the provision of a dedicated programme of support to enhance the lives of all individuals affected by a someone else’s substance misuse. 

Our Values: Underpin the work of S4F and include recognition that:
Families need specific services, offered by experienced, trained and caring people.
Each family member is unique and has different needs.
Stigma and discrimination against families affected by substance misuse needs to be addressed.
We have consistently been innovators for the sector, with the client at the forefront of everything we do.

Over the years we have worked in partnerships with a range of leading services including Stirling Council, Social services, Woman’s Aid, Homestart, Community Addiction Services, HIV Carers. Stirlingshire Voluntary Enterprise and more.
