Established in 1999 by a group of mothers devastated by their sons' heroin use.
Their mission was to "develop a telephone helpline that offered a listening ear for anyone affected by someone else’s substance misuse and to ensure every family accessing help would receive it”.
Today - we don't just provide a telephone helpline, we champion family support and individual well-being across Stirling and the wider environs of Forth Valley.
Driven by experience we help to create change so that individuals; children; and families can cope with their circumstances and adversities and are able to seek support when needed.
We offer a dedicated programme of support, including information and advice, counselling, peer support, and complimentary therapies, children's after school clubs, family days out, school holiday activities, and more.
As well as being a leading support service we have developed significant expertise in the area Child Protection, Kinship Care, and a range of Complimentary Therapies.

The team, led by a highly experienced Chief Officer, as well as having more than 20 year experience in Supporting Families affected by addiction is certified in a vast range of treatment and therapies. S4F team includes recognised trauma specialist and counsellor, with advanced training in complex mental health issues as well as Domestic Abuse. Our after school club have expertise and professional qualifications in Child care, food and nutrition, health and hygiene, first Aid and more ensuring your young ones are in safe hands.
